08 / ARCHIVE

Archive

An area for public historical or superseded records, identified with their context and documentary status.

Preservation without confusing versions.

The Archive distinguishes public documentary history from current institutional information.

Preserving material does not mean it remains in force. Each entry should state its historical nature, provenance and relationship to any subsequent versions.

No public archive entries.

This version of the website does not provide historical public records for consultation. The existence of this area does not imply prior publications, institutional events or archived documents.

No chronology, founding date, record or document is presented as historical without actual approved and accessible material.

Essential context for each record.

Future consultation should make clear what was preserved, why, and how it relates to any current version.

01

Identity and origin

Verifiable title, type and provenance of the material.

02

Dates and context

Relevant date and historical background, where applicable.

03

Documentary status

Explicit labelling as historical, superseded or no longer in force.

04

Relationship and access

Reference to a current version, if any, and links only to authorised material.

What belongs in each area.

Archive, Documents and Publications serve different purposes. A historical record must not be mistaken for current guidance.

Responsible historical access.

Material should enter the Archive only when continued public disclosure is authorised. Replacing a version does not automatically permit publication: confidentiality, integrity and context still govern access.
