07 / DOCUMENTS

Documents

An area for institutional documents expressly approved for public access.

Documentation with a defined function.

Documents brings together institutional records intended for public consultation.

Each document should state its purpose, provenance and applicability. This area does not expose internal documentation or replace Publications or the Archive.

Public catalogue in preparation.

This version of the website does not yet offer institutional documents to view or download. The structure is reserved for material explicitly approved for release.

Contracts, certificates, policies and records are not presented as public before an accessible version exists.

Information for each document.

A public entry should identify its document unambiguously without implying validity beyond its stated scope.

01

Title and purpose

State the document type and reason for making it available.

02

Origin and date

Identify the issuing authority and relevant date, where applicable.

03

Version and status

Identify the version and clearly indicate whether it is current or superseded.

04

Access and scope

Link only to approved material and describe the limits of its use.

Three distinct functions.

Visitors should be able to distinguish current institutional documentation, editorial material and historical records.

Updating and replacement.

Adding a document requires approval for disclosure. When a version is no longer current, its identification should be revised; a historical copy should enter the Archive only when continued disclosure remains appropriate.

Knowledge brings together the four public areas and explains the function of each.
